Opening up about how her behaviour would change after having a drink, Daisy said: "I haven’t drunk now for about seven months because I’m just evil on it.

"I just be the most destructive to everybody, but it has been life-changing for me.

"It’s such a nice feeling not having hangover anxiety, thinking ‘who the f*** did I message last night?’, because it will be an ex-boyfriend who I will be f****** calling at three in the morning.

"I got to a point where I couldn’t even trust myself to go out and have a drink, so I was just drinking at home. I thought ‘if I go out and get papped showing my f***y’, it’s not worth it.”

The This Country actress recently put on a cosy display at the BAFTAs earlier this year - with The Sun revealing that the star had moved her boyfriend into her home after nine months of dating.

Daisy has now opened up about her partner for the first time and said he's been "so f****** good for me", while also slamming her ex partners for their behaviour.

An insider said: “Daisy is head over heels with her new man and has really enjoyed getting to know him away from the spotlight.

“Most of the time they lead a very ordinary life together and left fans gobsmacked when they showed up at boot sale together recently.

“He gets on really well with Daisy’s dad Paul and seems to be a really calming influence on Daisy after a hectic time following the breakdown of her marriage.”

Daisy has been single since her whirlwind romance with chef Ryan Weymouth.

She dived into that relationship shortly after the breakdown of her eight year marriage to Will Weston.

Just weeks after they started dating she had his name tattooed on her finger, but the relationship wasn’t to last.

Daisy had married her long-term partner Will Weston in the Cotswolds in 2019.

But the pair split after Daisy was said to have grown “tired” of her two-year marriage amid the pressure of lockdown.

It came ten months after the birth of their second child.

Daisy rose to mega stardom when she appeared in This Country and has gone on to have huge success with her show Am I being unreasonable? and Rain Dogs.
