THE all-new Gladiators looked like a formidable bunch as they assembled outside BBC headquarters.
This exclusive picture, taken in London ahead of the show’s return to our screens next month, shows the line-up together for the first time.
It turned out to be a challenge for even the toughest among them – as they all had to brave the freezing cold in their barely there costumes.
But thankfully the outfits are not quite as flimsy as the ones worn by their Nineties counterparts when the series was a Saturday night favourite on ITV.
I exclusively revealed that the women’s outfits, in particular, would be a tad more modest when the show was rebooted for the Beeb.
Although I still wouldn’t recommend spending too long in the freezing cold with nothing but flimsy polyester to keep them warm.

Sensibly, the show’s hosts Bradley Walsh and his son Barney were present on the day the picture was taken – but were not in the shot as they decided to stay inside Broadcasting House.
I understand they only wear skimpy Spandex in the privacy of their own homes . . .
Earlier this year, we revealed the new Gladiators were slapped with a sex ban.
As former Olympians and professional sportspeople, the group is said to have agreed to avoid any romance for fear of ruining their performance.
