Netflix reveals its top 10 series by hours streamed for the first time ever – but where did you favourite rank?

Millions of hours of content have been consumed by viewers by Netflix, and now we finally know what shows are at the top of the list.

NETFLIX has always remained secretive about it's viewing figures, but for the first time ever it has given a sneak peak into what is popular on the platform.

The likes of Bridgerton, Wednesday and the first series of the Night Agent have all made a huge impact on the worldwide streaming platform.

Jenna Ortega's Wednesday series took the third spot with over 507million hours watched, whilst over 503million hours were viewed of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Despite the last episode being released in March 2022, the original Bridgerton series is still also looking incredibly popular.

136million hours were watched by viewers of the first series whilst 133million hours were seen for the second instalment.

But also making the top 10 are shows such as the fourth series of You, the third series of Outer Banks, FUBAR season one and the first series of Ginny and Georgia.

The third season of the telenovela, La Reina del Sur was the only show not to be available globally to make the top 10 list.

Elsewhere, in another blow Meghan and Harry have failed to have the impact with the public they may have wanted with their £88million documentary.

Despite a bombshell tell-all documentary about their time as working members of the Royal Family, 210 shows and movies ranked above the couple.

Notably, the couple's limited series was also beaten by both the first and second series of Peppa Pig as they were ranked 211 on the list.

149million hours were viewed of the sixth series of Paw Patrol, far more than the Archewell Productions documentary.

Only 62 million hours were watched by viewers, despite the couple releasing six one hour episodes.

Also above them on the list is Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical, for which 81 million hours were watched by viewers.

Despite the release of the series in 2021, Squid Game is still remaining popular with viewers.
