And despite the huge number of votes cast by TV soap fans for her and EastEnders rival Bobby Brazier, it will be Layton Williams who is the surprise runner-up.

Some 28 per cent of readers think the musical theatre star will come second, beating early favourite Bobby, who gets just 12 per cent backing.

Layton, known for BBC Three comedy Bad Education and his stage roles, has experienced more trolling than any other celebrity in the show’s history because of his dance experience.

But he also made Strictly Come Dancing history with the earliest ever ten score for a cha cha cha, has topped the leader board seven times and won the series’ only perfect 40s.

Sun readers now think it is time celebrities with dancing experience are banned. A whopping 80 per cent said it made the contest “unfair”.

And asked “Do you think Strictly is fixed?”, 39 per cent said “Yes, definitely”.

Some 44 per cent said they felt the judges had their favourites.

Anton Du Beke was voted top judge, on 68 per cent, followed by Craig Revel Horwood on 23 per cent.

Head judge Shirley Ballas got just five per cent and Motsi Mabuse, four per cent.

The show is still a winner though, with 78 per cent of readers saying they intend to tune in for tonight’s final.
