Set to air in the New Year, the brand new run will see three local restaurants go head-to-head.

Viewers will watch as each owner will take turns hosting their two rivals with a three-course dinner.

Just like the regular version, they’ll then be scored on the evening.

The overall winner will walk away with a cool £1,000 and the champion title.

Come Dine with Me: The Professionals will kick off in Belfast, Northern Ireland for the next run.

Spanish tapas restaurant 2Taps, family-owned business Holohans Pantry and Mexican restaurant Acapulco Belfast will all feature in the series.

The new run will kick off next month, with Channel 4 yet to confirm the exact date.

Fans last saw Come Dine with Me: The Professionals in 2022 and featured cities such as Glasgow, Cardiff, Newcastle, Nottingham, Bristol and Leeds.

Viewers previously had mixed reviews about the series and took to social media to share their views.

One had said: “‘Come Dine with Me: The Professionals!?’ Where’s the fun in that? No. Just no. #ComeDineWithMe.”

A second chimed in: “When are they going back to the old #comedinewithme with the singletons, not keen on this new professional.”

“I don’t like the professionals version of #comedinewithme like if you agree,” a third added.

Come Dine With Me – which is narrated by Dave Lamb – premiered back in 2005 and has had over 45 successful series over the years.
