Christmas on the Farm in shock Emmerdale crossover as soap star in disguise joins Helen and Jules
They asked the star disguised as Father Christmas to give a clue towards their true identity, with the actress saying: "Urm my favourite song is Dingle all the way!"
CHRISTMAS on the Farm aired a shock crossover episode with Emmerdale as one star joined the show.
The Channel 5 programme is a spin-off from the usual format Winter on the Farm.
It’s presented by Strictly star Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson, but the pair were joined by a guest host on Tuesday.
Santa made a cameo during the programme, in the form of Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley.
The Mandy Dingle star’s arrival on the farm was teased by Jules, 53, who said: “Santa’s sleigh is packed and ready to go.
“But before the epic journey begins there is a special stop to be made right here at the farm. Who do you think our Secret Santa is?
“Well, as tradition demands, wearing a nice red coat but this Santa is probably more used to leopard print.”
Both hosts had teased Lisa’s appearance throughout the show before it was time for the big reveal.
They asked Father Christmas to give a clue towards their true identity, with the actress saying: “Urm my favourite song is Dingle all the way!”
Jules couldn’t take the teasing any longer and then revealed to viewers at home it was Lisa Riley.
He told her: “Oh come on remove the beard, it is Lisa Riley from Emmerdale!”
The show also welcomed Rob and Dave Nicholson and JB Gill to the farm.
Christmas on the Farm is available to stream on My5.
