‘Christmas is cancelled’ says Dancing On Ice legend as he reveals secret health battle
ONE former Dancing On Ice professional skater has issued a stark warning ahead of Christmas Day 2023.
Matt Evers, 47, first made his debut on the long-running ITV skating show in 2006 as one of the original professionals.
He was one of the only pro-skaters to return to the reboot of Dancing On Ice when it came back in 2018.
However, ahead of the new series - which he will not be skating - the star took to social media as he opened up on his secret battle with anxiety.
He posted an extended video rant onto the platform as he lamented - what he feels - the poor state of the world.
Matt explained: "Something's up people, Cuz this ain't cool. Full disclosure, y'all. Christmas can be cancelled as far as I'm concerned.

"Now, I don't mean this, in a sense that I'm Mr. Scrooge. But I don't know about y'all. I can't deal with it.
"My anxiety has been so bad for the past week. Thinking about the pressure of Christmas. Have this doesn't come from my family and friends or put no pressure on me.
"This has come from just like the world right now. I feel like I am gripping on to dear life by the skin of my fingertips."
The star has seemingly been caught up in the hustle and bustle of preparations for the holiday as he fumed at how busy and 'agressive' London seems to be, according to the TV personality.

"I'm feeding off of the energy of what the world is giving out right now or what people are giving out right now, driving down the freeway is like everybody's so aggressive," he stated.
"I was in London this past weekend. I gotta tell you I have never experienced Central London like we did, the amount of people that were there. Holy s***. I have 20 years of being in the holiday season in central London, and I've never seen it like that
"Not only the amount of people, but the attitude of people. It was aggressive, people were pushing and shoving each other. I think the world is going crazy.
"I actually think the world has gone nuts. Unless Unless I'm the one that's gone nuts. And I just don't know, trying to be sensitive, trying to keep an open mind and an open heart.
"I love Christmas, but what the hell is going on? I've spoken to so many people the past couple of days and they're all feeling exactly the same."
He plead with his fans and followers for answers as he enquired if others are feeling a similar way to him.
He asked: "I don't know what it is. If anybody's got any answers, please let me know, it's supposed to be a happy time.
"It is supposed to be a joyous time to spend with your loved ones. I'll tell you why, all I want to do stay in bed for the next week.
"Something's not right. I just can't get a minute. I can't get caught up. I've done all of my shopping on Amazon for God's sakes, they're delivering it to me.
"Energy right now is just spinning the cyclone of s***. Why? Why? Why? Anybody know? "
However he was determined to end the social media post on a brighter note.
Matt added: "Anyway, enough of my rant. I am sending you love. I am sending you positive energy if you were feeling like I am right now.
"And believe you me, I'm accepting it right back. Have a blessed day, or at least try to. Let's just turn the dial down a little bit people just turn the dial down.
This comes after The Sun revealed that Matt Evers quit the ITV skating series after 17 years.
