EASTENDERS bosses have cast The Office star Howard Saddler in a new love triangle storyline.
The Sun can reveal that Howard will play Pastor Clayton in the BBC soap and will appear on screens as soon as next week.
His character is set to grow close to Yolande Truman after they start working together at the local soup kitchen - which is bad news for her ex-husband Patrick.
The pair’s connection doesn’t go unnoticed as local teen Denzel Danes spots them and deliberately pours hot curry over them in an angry rage after he accuses Yolande of cheating on Patrick, whom he lives with.
But Walford won't be all too new for Howard, as he's previously paid a visit to the fictional community.
The actor played a completely different role back in 2002, when he took on the part of Doctor Daniel Rodford for one episode.

After several years of absence due to her living a new life in Birmingham, Yolande came back to the Square in August of this year.
Soon after she returned, her former partner Anton tried to win her over again only to find out that she'd rekindled her relationship with beloved Walford resident Patrick.
Eventually, the pair were able to get rid of Anton, blackmailing him about a sum of money he stole and threatening to turn him into the authorities.

This wouldn't be the first time Yolande is keeping secrets as, upon her comeback, it was revealed her former partner Anton had been up to no good.
When he rocked up Walford in the hopes of winning Yolande over again, she told Patrick that he had managed to steal from the church after she innocently gave him a password to a safe, which he had tricked her into.
Anton blackmailed Yolande, telling her he would cause her trouble if she walked away from him.
This prompted Patrick to take action and urge him to leave her alone if he didn't want to face legal troubles.
