ZARA McDermott has been slammed for sharing her "lengthy and pricey" skincare routine - which featured 24 daily products.

The former Love Island star helpfully uploaded both a list of the cosmetics and a video showing how to use them on her Instagram page.

Yet after Zara, 27, posted the lengthy clip - showing her natural beauty before she applied a full face of make-up - some were left irked.

In her caption, the Strictly Come Dancing contestant dubbed it her "clean girl skin / makeup look."

Yet one was quick to moan: "The f**k has time for this."

A second put: "Fancy doing all this before dancing in #strictly, I wonder if their Make Up Women use this lol."

A third sniped: "Can’t you wait till after the New Year before making more money, surely Sam's got enough lol."

The items included make-up from L'Oreal as well as specific items including a Tweezerman eyelash curler.

It came after Zara sparked concern among fans with a hospital snap.

She revealed she had been admitted for a mystery procedure.

The former civil servant posted a picture to her Instagram stories in pink pyjamas sat in a hospital bed with a cannula in her arm and a ID wristband around her arm.

"Had a little procedure done yesterday!" she wrote cryptically. "Now ready for a super chilled Xmas."

She did not reveal what the surgery was but her admission to hospital came two days after she returned to the Strictly dance floor for the show's final.

Meanwhile, it has been suggested Zara and partner Sam Thompson, who recently won I'm A Celeb, are set to crack America in a new career move.
