ITV VIEWERS have ripped into Jeopardy! following its highly-anticipated relaunch.
The game show, which first launched in the UK back in 1983 on Channel 4, has returned to the schedules after decades off air.
Stephen Fry has taken over hosting duties, with the first episode kicking off on New Year's Day.
However, as the broadcaster, 66, fronted the new series, fans at home were left underwhelmed.
While Jeopardy! still proves hugely popular in America, where it launched in 1964, it seems British viewers aren't completely sold.
Taking to social media, ITV fans ripped into the show, branding it 'unwatchable' and slamming Stephen.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, one said: "A boring programme with a boring host, Answer what is Jeapardy."
A second posted: "I’m now cringing at Mr Fry’s lame attempts at being funny and / or clever. Bad choice of present. Boring."
"Normally, a fan of Stephen Fry, but not sure that he is the best choice for hosting a show where he reads mostly rather than use his wit to be entertaining. Not really playing to his strength. Much better suited for QI," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "Just watched ITV’s new #Jeopardy!, hosted by Stephen Fry. It was fun at first but soon got boring. The show is an institution in the US mainly because of its heritage. In the UK, previous incarnations have been total flops, and I can see this one suffering the same fate, sadly."

"Jeopardy Bring back Deal or No Deal. It was s**t but not as unwatchable as this," said a fifth.
However, some Jeopardy! fans did enjoy the reboot, as one said: "2024 is off to an excellent start with FINALLY British #Jeopardy! Really enjoyed it - great categories, and Stephen Fry was a perfect blend of kindness to the contestants and explaining the format to people who might not be familiar. Excellent."
Another viewer wrote: "British #Jeopardy is fantastic. It is not dull at all. Legend Stephen Fry is a brilliant host. The most authentic British version yet of anything I have seen 'imported'."
Jeopardy! sees contestants use their best general knowledge to win rounds and a potentially life-changing amount of money.
The reboot will allow participants to play an extra round compared to the original format, increasing the stakes for the players.
