Having played the role for over 20 years, Beverley was last seen on the cobbles in 2020 after deciding to quit for good.
However, it seems that the star has been weighing up other project with a rival soap at the forefront of her mind.

One fan wrote: "Isn't it about time EastEnders introduced a Long lost Mitchell or Slater or Carter sister/aunt?!"
Beverley then replied: "Love that idea X"
It came just moments after she tweeted EastEnders scriptwriter Daran Little to say she would "kill" to have a script written by him.
Daran had previously worked with Beverley on the Corrie cobbles.

He went on to reply that he had recently "dreamt" he was writing for the star adding even more fuel to the fire.
Not done there, Beverley appeared to be hellbent on landing a role in Walford as another fan suggested: "Well Kathy Beale's apparently got a sister we've never seen, sure @DaranLittle would create an incredible character."
The actress then said: "What do you think Daran? That would be fab X."
Beverley went on to reply to even more fans to say she was "loving" the thought of heading to EastEnders.
Having plenty of experience of running the bar in Weatherfield as Liz, is it only a matter of time until Bev turns up on Albert Square?
