Celeb Cooking School chaos as star Scotty T is forced to halt filming after falling ill and ‘almost losing his fingers’
The 35-year-old reality star best known for his Geordie Shore stints almost lost his fingers while he was too busy flirting
GEORDIE Shore’s Scotty T was forced to halt filming his TV comeback after falling ill on set.
The reality star gave himself food poisoning by scoffing a half-baked cake on E4‘s Celeb Cooking School.
He also almost cut his fingers off while flirting with co-star Olivia Bentley during the chaotic series, which puts famous faces to the test in the kitchen.
Spilling the beans on his time on the show, Scotty said: “There is a period on the show where I get food poisoning, but it was my own fault.
“I made this cake and the chef said it wasn’t cooked, but I just kept eating it.
“Obviously i got unwell so I had to have a bit of time off.
“That episode will be the most boring obviously.”
He added: “I had no sympathy of anyone, because it was literally my own fault.”
Scotty T has also been left with a scar on his arm after burning it on a baking tray.
Despite using gloves to bring it out the oven, the tray slipped back and singed his forearm.
“I remember seeing my skin bubble. It was that hot.
“I got got distracted a lot. Nearly sliced me fingers off when I was busy flirting.”
Hosted by presenter and DJ Melvin Odoom, Celeb Cooking School, co-produced by RDF Television and Motion Content Group, tests whether a bunch of celebs with no cooking abilities can be turned around when trained and judged by Michelin star chef, Giorgio Locatelli who believes he can teach anyone how to cook.
Scotty and his on-screen love interest Made In Chelsea star Olivia were joined alongside Nancy Dell’Ollio, Ann Widdecombe, Louie Spence, Nadia Rose, Blu Hydrangea, James Argent, Ruth Codd and Spuddz.
All that these celebs know about food to begin with is how to order it.
But under the watchful eye of Giorgio, the stars work solo and matched in pairs on an intensive cookery crash course.
A series of complex cooking challenges well beyond their ability leads to injury, walkouts and chaos in the kitchen.
The famous faces will need to master crucial cookery techniques and gain confidence if they’re to be crowned ‘Best in Class’ at the end of the series.
But if they don’t impress, they’ll get an F for Fail and leave the school for good.
Celeb Cooking School series two returns to E4 on Monday, January 8 at 8pm. Catch up on series one, .
