Who is Ross on The Traitors?

WARNING - this story contains spoilers for episode three of The Traitors series 2

Ross is a video director from Lancashire.

Ahead of his debut on the show, Ross said that he applied to be a part of The Traitors to throw himself into the "deep end of something".

He added that he was "so used to being behind a camera that it's actually very nerve-racking for [him] to be in front of one."

The first three episodes of The Traitors were released on BBC iPlayer the day the show debuted.

This series, episodes are released weekly on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Fans who watched episode three were met with an explosive twist as it was revealed that Ross is actually related to another of the players.

The secret unravelled after one contestant joked that they thought contestant Diane was the mother of their co-star Paul because he has a similar hair colour to her.

Speaking to the cameras, Diane denied that Paul is her son but revealed that she is in fact Ross' mum.

A clip was then shown of Diane and Ross agreeing not to discuss their familial relationship on the show, but planning to secretly partner up so that they can share the prize if one of them wins.

The revelation means that Ross is the brother of Game Of Thrones actor Kerr Logan.

On the night of The Traitors series two's launch, Kerr confirmed Diane is his mother on X, formerly known as Twitter, posting: "My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. She's bonkers. I'm scared."

Is Ross a Traitor or Faithful?

Ross was not chosen to be a Traitor, meaning he is playing the game as a Faithful.

Discussing his game plan before the show started, and before the audience knew about his connection with Diane, Ross said he would try to "charm" his co-stars to make it far in the game.

He said: "I'd befriend everyone.

"I'd try and charm everyone and try and get their secrets from them, that's the whole thing, isn't it?"

The first three Traitors were chosen by host Claudia Winkleman during the first episode of the new series.

After interviewing each player to determine who would be a good fit for the role, the presenter tapped who she had chosen to be a Traitor on the shoulder at the round table, while all the contestants were blindfolded.
