Disney+ has sparked outrage as an acclaimed TV show has been given the axe after just one series.
The streaming giant has cancelled a show which stars Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh.
American Born Chinese focused on a teenager called Jin Wang (played by Ben Wang), who is struggling to fit in with his peers.
He is tasked with looking after exchange student Wei-Chen (played by Jimmy Liu).
However, he was then thrust into a battle between mythical Chinese gods.
The show is based off a graphic novel with the same name from 2006 which in itself draws elements from Chinese folk tales and mysticism.

Crazy Rich Asians star Michelle Yeoh, and Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan have supporting roles in the acclaimed series.
After it made it's debut on Disney+ last year, the show was praised by both viewers and critics.
It currently holds a score of 94% on the review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes with an audience score of 82%.
But it seems the series did not resonate and the brand has decided to pull the plug.

However, many devoted fans of the show took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to express their rage at the decision.
One viewer raged: "Just found out Disney cancelled “American Born Chinese” and I’m so f****** upset."
A second echoed: "American born Chinese was cancelled?? I’m sad 🥺 I felt like it found its rhythm at the end of the season."
"American Born Chinese getting cancelled by Disney really p***** me off. A show with a great story, fantastic cast and awesome fight choreography should be getting a lot more views, but Disney can't market s*** unless it has 'Marvel' or 'Star Wars' written at the front," claimed a third user.
As a fourth viewer fumed: "American Born Chinese cancelled by Disney?! The marketing for a show with two Oscar winners + Daniel Wu…was NON existent. This show was a fun watch! Sad to see Disney completely ignore and not promote their show and then cancel it."
A fifth stated: "The feeling of rage when american born chinese is cancelled by Disney+."
And a sixth added: "American Born Chinese on Disney+ was cancelled. This makes me really sad because not only did I enjoy the graphic novel and the Disney series but I watched everyone on social media rave about other MG/YA adaptations recently and it was crickets when this came out."
reported that the numbers did not "justify" a renewal of the series, but the outlet said that producers are hoping to ship the show to other broadcasters and streaming platforms.
