BBC producing grisly Bible John true crime thriller about infamous unidentified British serial killer
THE BBC have commissioned a new grisly crime show based on serial killer Bible John.
Bosses at the broadcaster are said to be developing the currently untitled thriller.
Deadline report the show will explore the mysterious case, which still remains unsolved from the late 60s.
The killer was believed to be responsible for at least three murders in the wider Glasgow area.
For decades, Glasgow police have tirelessly searched for clues on who could be behind the crimes, with very little information coming forward about the slippery suspect.
After his third murder, the moniker Bible John began to circulate through the media, giving rise to widespread fear over the attacks.

Bible John received his unique nickname as he was known for quoting the old testament before committing the gruesome crimes.
When contacted, the BBC declined to comment on the project.
It comes after the huge success of true crime shows that have gripped fans all over the world.
Netflix told the story of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in a gruesome thriller which left some fans disturbed.
