THE top fitness secrets of the Gladiators have finally been revealed.
It comes after the full cast line-up for the reality TV show re-boot came to light, hosted by father-and-son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh.
The hotly anticipated BBC reinvention of Gladiators will feature a ripped line-up of fitness professionals set to take on the classic sporting challenges against members of the public.
Now they have lifted the lid on their fitness techniques - including mammoth workouts and, simply, staring in the mirror.
Legend, aka Matt Morsia, is a former Championship bronze medal winning long and triple jumper, and silver medal winning powerlifter.
He exclusively told The Sun: "I'll train like six days a week regularly but recently I have had to reign it in a bit because I was getting too good.

"Obviously when you are as strong as I am and you come with so many skills, you don't want to be too good.
"So I had to deliberately stop, pull myself in, and not do as much.
"I also spend a lot of time looking in the mirror - for me that's quite inspiring."
Meanwhile for Giant, good grub is a priority.

The star, whose real name is Jamie Christian Johal, is a former firefighter-turned-bodybuilder.
He told us: "I wake up at 6am, I have been known to do cold therapy in the ice bath, which is about five degrees at the minute, so it is nice and cold.
"That starts the day and wakes me up, I am ready for it."
Yet turning the focus to his meals, he added: the rest of my training involves eating, I eat a lot.
"In my biggest growing, we call it an off season, where we eat as much as possible, I would eat up to 10,000 calories a day and that would be consistent for weeks and months.
"At the minute, to maintain the physique I have got at about 20 stone, probably 4,500 calories a day so that's across six meals."
Meanwhile, non-stop workouts are key for Steel.
The professional Crossfit athlete, whose real name is Zack George, won the title of the UK’s Fittest Man in 2020,
The Gladiator has now detailed his workout schedule and said: "I'm a professional Crossfit athlete so I train for three to four hours a day, six days a week.
"It's like 11/12 sessions a week so it's pretty high volume which is perfect for being a Gladiator.
"So I have to do weightlifting, running, swimming, strength work, body weight work, mobility, stretching, so it's like the perfect training methodology to be a Gladiator."
Additionally, Bionic is also focussed on metal fitness.
Matty Campbell has been described as a "machine" yet told how mind health means just as much.
He added: "Mentality is one of the most important things.

"You can literally half your ability if you're not feeling good about some things or confident so no matter what, I think mentality is one of the most important."
Gladiators will return on Saturday, January 13, starting at 5:50pm.
