‘Get rid of it!’ rage Jeopardy! viewers as they brand BBC reboot ‘worst quiz show to ever hit screens’
JEOPARDY! viewers have branded the ‘absolutey boring’ rebooted ITV series the 'worst quiz show to ever hit screens' following Thursday’s episode.
Show viewers have previously predicted that the ‘unwatchable' show hosted by the legendary Stephen Fry will be axed by the broadcaster very soon.
Yet again, ITV fans have been left feeling disappointed and unimpressed by another Jeopardy! episode.
Yesterday as the show aired on ITV1 at 4pm, viewers took to X(Twitter) and complained about the show, with one user saying: “Worst quiz show ever broadcast on TV? Definitely, that tripe called #Jeopardy Absolute boring tripe with a crap presenter!”
Another echoed: “And there I was thinking you couldn't possibly get any worse than Tipping Point #Jeopardy.”
A third chimed: “The format is so simple to get right, but they keep getting away with not saying it. #Jeopardy.”

Another followed: “#Jeopardy is the program nobody asked for, wanted or even likes.”
A fifth viewer was so bored they requested to be woken up once the programme had finished as they penned: “Wake me up at 5pm please #jeopardy.”
The show, which aired on New Year's Day after a 25-year break, has received heaps of backlash since its comeback on screens.
Following its highly anticipated relaunch, fans branded 66-year-old Stephen Fry 'obnoxious.'
Most recently, UK viewers were not impressed with the show's latest ‘unwatchable' episodes, with many convinced that the series will be axed.
Jeopardy! originated as an American television series which launched in 1964.
The show's original daytime format, hosted by Art Fleming, aired on NBC until 1975.
After a three-year hiatus, the series was revived for a 21-week run with a slightly different format from 1978 to 1979.
During its time on US screens, Jeopardy proved to be a big success and earned the title of 'America's most award-winning game show' with 74 Emmy nominations, 32 wins and a George Foster Peabody Award under its belt.
Watch Jeopardy! on ITV1 and ITVX from Monday 1st January 2024.
