HOLLY Willoughby made her dramatic telly return on Dancing On Ice last night - but there was one person who was definitely not watching.
Former co-host of the show Phillip Schofield, 61, left all his roles at ITV last year after he admitted he lied about a consensual affair with a younger male colleague.
Holly, 42, off screens for 101 days over an alleged plot to kidnap her, appeared to be in great spirits as she returned to her role as the host of the hit ice dancing show.
She showed natural banter with her new co-host, and friend of 20 years, Stephen Mulhern.
The pair planned to lean on their years of friendship since they first worked together on CITV to forge a new era of Dancing On Ice.
They packed their introduction with jokes as they both chuckled over the "fear in the competitors’ eyes".

The duo also shared a silly gag over first celebrity contestant, British Olympian runner Greg Rutherford, in what would have been a dagger to the heart for Schofield.
A friend of Phillip has said he was "unlikely" to have tuned in to watch the new television pairing.
They said: "Phil is still bruised by the whole Holly falling-out and the way it was played out publicly.
"He still can’t bring himself to watch This Morning and even listening to the theme tune is deeply triggering. It would seem unlikely he is avidly tuning in to watch Holly’s return to TV.

"Phil just wants to move on and live a quiet life away from the spotlight whilst he tries to rebuild.
"He reached out to offer his support when the awful kidnap news broke but it’s understood they have not been in contact since, so he’s probably not spoken to Holly ahead of her DOI return."
Holly donned a dazzling silver gown for the start of the new series as she strode confidently onto the rink.
The TV personality previously posted a picture of her look on Instagram as she wrote: “Dancing on Ice series 16! . . . Let’s do this one sequin at a time.”
