OVER the years Dancing On Ice has seen many horror falls in their famous rink.
The latest series is no different, and one contestant was forced to pull out for breaking their ankle.

Gogglebox favourite Stephen Lustig-Webb's spot on the show was revealed in early October 2024.
The popular reality star and hairdresser was announced on Lorraine, just weeks after quitting Gogglebox.
He said: "I'm really excited, really nervous. I just want to get at it now."
Stephen, who called Dancing On Ice "one of the biggest challenges on TV", said he hasn't skated properly since he was 13 but managed to avoid falling after a recent return to the ice.

Sadly, this hasn't remained the case.
In October 2024, it was revealed that Stephen had broken his ankle training for Dancing On Ice.
Who is Stephen Lustig-Webb?
Stephen is known for appearing on reality show Gogglebox on Channel 4.
By trade he is a hairdresser who lives in Brighton with his husband Daniel Lustig, who is also a hairdresser.

Stephen used to appear on Gogglebox alongside his ex-lover Chris Butland-Steed, but Chris left the show earlier in 2018.

Because of his broken ankle, and the amount of time he needs for recovery, Stephen had to quit Dancing On Ice.
reported how the telly favourite had a "freak accident" in training.
He was rushed to Portsmouth Queen Alexandra Hospital where he was told he had broken his left ankle.
The publication reported how Stephen was told he would be on crutches "for at least the next three months."
A source told them: "Stephen is devastated… he is absolutely gutted.
"He was loving training but while turning on his skates he snapped his ankle and was rushed to hospital.
"After two days and an operation to put metal plates into his left ankle, medics informed him that there wasn't a chance he could return to training, so he had no other option but to pull out of the competition."

A spokesperson for Dancing On Ice confirmed the news to us and said: "Stephen Lustig-Webb has had to withdraw from the show due an injury he sustained to his ankle during training.
"He is still very much a part of the Dancing On Ice family, we will be helping to support Stephen and we wish him well with his recovery."
