EastEnders fans are only just realising where they’ve seen newcomer Builder Dave before – and he’s a comedy legend
EASTENDERS fans are only just realising where they've seen newcomer Builder Dave before.
The workman appeared in Walford in recent episodes as work finally got underway on the burnt down cafe.
He had an interaction with Suki Panesar who discouraged him from going in, in a bid to keep Kenau Taylor's dead body hidden.
But eagle-eyed fans at home thought the actor looked very familiar - and that's because he is.
Dan Skinner who plays Builder Dave is actually a very famous comedian. He's also starred in Shooting Stars.
He often appears on TV in the guise of his comedy character Angelos Epithemiou.

A second wrote: “Is Builder Dave actually Angelos Epithemiou from Shooting Stars? Do we need to ask him “what’s in your bag?” or even once they start work “what’s in the cafe?”
A third penned: “Has anyone noticed that ‘Builder Dave’ is Dan Renton Skinner who used to be ‘Angelos Epithemiou’ on Shooting Stars?”
