Furious Marnie Simpson hits back at mumshamers who targeted her son – and takes swipe at Geordie Shore filming pressure
MARNIE Simpson has hit back at mumshamers who cruelly picked on her four-year-old son Rox.
The Geordie Shore star, 31, was joined by her husband Casey Johnson and their children Rox and one-year-old son Oax on the latest MTV series.
But Marnie's eldest son has since been targeted by vile social media users after they blasted her for being too "laid back" as a parent and said her son was "out of control" and seemed like a "lot of work".
In a lengthy post, Marnie wrote: "Just want to say a huge thank you for all the support I'm receiving. It's so upsetting to see comments being made about my four-year-old son, Rox is a hyper four-year-old but aren't most kids his age, he was just excited to be away.
"Rox's ADHD doesn't change how amazing, loving, funny and caring he is.
"He's an innocent child and doesn't deserve this, he was just having fun.

"For close friends basically saying hurtful things about him has destroyed me as a mother, I really wish I didn't involve him and subject him to this negativity.
"I wouldn't dream of saying hurtful things about children."
The TV star explained that she felt "constant" pressure while filming with her family and said it was "evil" that close people around her had "judged" her and her kids.
Marnie continued: "Filming with my two boys was extremely scary and daunting putting myself out there for hundreds of people to judge me as a parent, especially because I know how full on they are and I'm always aware of other peoples feelings.

"And I constantly felt like losing control, the amount of pressure I felt in Cyprus was so horrible. I felt like every time my children made noise, I had to stop them and this pressure built up and up to the point I exploded and raised my voice for which I'm not thrilled about as you can imagine.
"But it was so tense and I don't know how to process all of that judgement.
"It's not right. One thing every one knows about me is that I don't often cry especially on camera, and if I do it really does man I'm upset and can't hide it.
"But Cyprus did massively upset me, it was my honeymoon and all I did was try and make it a happy environment for my kids.
"I want them to be kids at the end of the day.
"I'm very easy going on holiday, I want the kids to enjoy themselves, the least of my priorities on a family holiday is keeping the place tidy and that goes for all kids there, not just mine.
"There was so much going on with so many kids and cameras, the last thing I wanted was to create extra pressure for all the parents and children.
"We can clean up after the kids are asleep, not a problem, it's all about teamwork when going away with families and the main thing, is that all the kids are happy and content and enjoying their holiday."
Marnie fumed: "To see close people around me judge me and be mean about my children is so upsetting, say anything you want about me but talking about my kids is below the belt and unforgivable and I'm still so shocked."
The reality favourite then admitted that she was sitting in floods of tears as she wrote this.
She added: "Rox was so affectionate towards the babies. The whole way through that trip he would constantly stroke them and cuddle them and ask where they were.
"Everyone there said 'aww Rox is so sweet towards the babies', so for people to be mean to him knowing this is sick, messed up and evil FACT."
It comes after Marnie and co-star Charlotte Crosby got into an explosive row over a highchair, which resulted in Charlotte quitting the show with her fiance Jake Ankers and daughter Alba.
Some fans have had their say on the latest episode, with one writing: "As a parent of a child with adhd, I’m gutted but had to unfollow Charlotte and Jake, if they make those comments about their friends children what else could they say."

A second wrote: "Not nice making comments about someone’s kids being full on, what if he has a disability or if he’s just a bloody toddler; wait till your kid is older you’ll get a shock."
But this viewer commented: "I’m definitely team Charlotte, I don’t really see much wrong with what Jake said, he said Rox is full on and all kids are full on he even said his own daughter will be full on when older."
