LOVE Island's Marcel Somerville fought back tears as he relived the memory of his brush with death from an undiscovered health condition.

The Blazin' Squad rapper was 34 when he collapsed at home in from of his horrified wife.

Marcel, now 38, had been living with Type One diabetes - but had no idea until he woke up from unconsciousness in hospital.

Describing the terrifying ordeal on Boots presents , Marcel said: "I started vomiting and then hit the floor. My wife called 999 and they sent an ambulance straight away.

"I saw lights, I was coming in and out of consciousness.

"I was grey, I'd lost all the colour in my skin.

"I remember passing out and the doctor came in and asked 'did you know you were diabetic?'"

Marcel had been suffering from tiredness in the weeks before his dignosis.

He felt something was wrong when he started going to the toilet six times a night.

But it took uncontrollably vomiting and passing out to finally get him diagnosed.
