In 2018, Oliver gained a degree in International Food and Agribusiness from Royal Agricultural University.

He now works in the drinks industry and co-founded a successful drinks range.

When asked what his biggest business success to date was, he replied: "Running five retail shops for our family-run distillery, from Newcastle to Swindon.

"Plus, setting up a soft drink that pairs perfectly with all our range of gins."

After supervising stores up and down the country, he is ready to face the boardroom.

With a background in selling at markets, he believes he is the perfect person when it comes to sales tasks.

He said: "I really hope there is a selling task because this is where I will dominate and prove to Lord Sugar, I am a selling machine.

"I work the markets selling gin and tonic and there aren’t many customers that leave without buying."

Revealing the big news that he is part of The Apprentice 2024 line-up, he told his Instagram followers: "Secret's out The Apprentice I'll see you on the screen 01.02.24."

What does Oliver Medforth do for a living?

Oliver works as a sales executive and is the co-founder of Yorkshire Tonics.

He is also the operations Director at Raisthorpe Manor, which is owned by his parents, David and Julia Medforth.

Known for the famous Raisthorpe Raspberry Gin Liqueur, the family recipe has been passed through generations.

"After friends tried our raspberry gin, they all said we should bottle it and sell it," Oliver told Living North.

"We realised how good it was and because it’s a family recipe, it’s really unique."

Oliver is often seen plugging his wares on social media - particularly his gin range.
