PIE maker Paul Bowen might be bidding for a slice of Lord Alan Sugar's cash in the latest Apprentice series, yet his first TV experience had nothing to do with the tasty treats.
Lancashire lad Paul was revealed in the full Apprentice cast line-up this week.
While the foodie businessman has high hopes his skills in the comfort food business will see him go far, First Dates fans might better recognise him for his attempts at finding love.
Paul starred on the hit Channel 4 series back in 2018 - where he revealed a hugely personal secret about his appearance.
He enjoyed a date with Kimmie and felt comfortable enough in her company to tell her he was wearing a wig.
After she asked if his hair had "fallen out" he replied: "By 20 years old it was pretty much gone. So I went to this clinic and I said I was thinking of a hair transplant, but he said, ‘Sorry Paul you’re too late for a hair transplant it’s too far gone.’

"The only option for you is a non-surgical hair piece and I just went, ‘A wig?!'"
He added at the time: "Girls say having no hair doesn’t matter, but I’m telling you it does.
"You can put a fancy shirt on but there’s always something missing."
Despite the pair agreeing to see each other again, Paul and Kimmie's spark fizzled out.

He is now happily engaged to Emma Hindley, with the pair planning their wedding.
Meanwhile, Paul - who also runs E Speedway, a company providing electric components for motorsport - has opened up on his bid for The Apprentice title.
He joked how he could make Alan the "Lord of the Pies", and said: "I’m seeking investment of Lord Sugar’s time and knowledge.
"I have great ideas and great business acumen, along with a work hard attitude.
"My organisation and planning is my weakness.
"But with Lord Sugar’s strategy and my passion and ideas, I could make him Lord of the Pies."
He is one of two pie company experts in the new series battling it out for the £250,000 fee.
Yet Paul may have an edge on the bragging rights, with his treats stocked at Manchester City football club as part of a five-year deal with the Premier League side.
It remains to be seen if he will triumph in the new BBC series after the start date was revealed.
