DRAGONS’ Den star Levi Roots has reportedly been signed for Celebrity Big Brother.

It comes after Rebekah Vardy was scrapped from the line-up - despite desperate calls for her to be in the House following the Wagatha Christie drama.

A source told the : "Levi will be great for the Celebrity Big Brother house. He's got a few exciting projects coming up and he's such a fun character."

They added: "He's self-made and is an inspiration to a new generation."

Levi was spotted by a BBC producer for Dragons' Den in 2007.

Levi was on Dragons' Den looking for a £50,000 investment for a 40 percent stake in his business selling Levi Roots' Reggae Reggae Sauce.

It led him to stock his jerk barbecue sauce in Sainsbury's.

The 65-year-old has since become a regular on cooking TV shows, including BBC's Ready Steady Cook.

Meanwhile, The Sun yesterday revealed Love Island favourite Chloe Burrows is in talks to appear on CBB.

Fans have been hoping she will make an appearance in South Africa for All Stars – and be reunited with her ex Toby Aromolaran.

An insider said: “Everyone is desperate to see Chloe Burrows head into the Love Island All Stars villa and shake things up with her ex, Toby Aromolaran, but she’s actually been in talks to star in another big ITV reality show instead.

“She’s had meetings with Celebrity Big Brother producers, who are keen to sign up a Love Islander and think Chloe would fit the bill perfectly.

“She’s sassy, outspoken and she’s single, so she could potentially enjoy a romance in the house too. Nothing has been signed yet, but the talks have been promising and Chloe is keen.”

We also revealed earlier this month that ITV bosses have amassed a £2million “war chest” to secure a sensational line-up of stars.

The Celebrity Big Brother reboot is highly anticipated by fans after last year's civilian series, which was streamed 38 million times - putting it in ITVX’s top five most streamed shows.

The comeback, which will also be fronted by AJ and Will, is expected to rack up even more streams and get higher viewing figures on the night it airs.

No housemates have been confirmed yet.
