Dirty Sanchez stars look unrecognisable 20 years after launching the UK’s version of Jackass

DIRTY Sanchez legend Mathew Pritchard dedicates his time to healthy living nowadays – after his death-defying pranks on the reality TV show.

He tells fans who look him up on Instagram that he is an “ex lunatic who likes food, fitness, and adventure.”

It’s a far cry from snorting the contents of an ashtray for laughs, and playing liposuction drinking games on the MTV series.

It first aired on MTV in 2002 and left fans determined to never fall asleep in the company of their mates again.

At the time, magazin Maxim described the show as making “Jackass look like The Teletubbies.”

The show was so popular it spawned a movie in 2006 starring skateboarder and stuntman Matthew Pritchard.

Matthew, from Pentwyn in Cardiff, has been sober for a year and has been showing his new life on social media.

He posted a reel on Instagram this week that followed his impressive routine, which includes getting up at the crack of dawn to exercise.

Matthew said: “I get asked most days, how do I get up at 4am?

“Well, I go to sleep at 9pm. That gives me a good seven hours sleep. Most nights I cook my dinner and chill at 8pm ready to switch off for 9pm.

“I don’t really watch TV apart from cooking shows. So going to bed that early isn’t a problem. I make my coffee then hit the gym ready to rock for 4.30am.

“Today it was arms day. Then off back home to wake the missus. Walk the dog, have a good catch up. Then back home for an hour of spin.”
