Claudia Winkleman begs fans to not ‘cancel’ her as she refuses to talk about The Traitors ahead of the final
She even dubbed herself the 'worst' guest.
BBC host Claudia Winkleman is keeping very quiet ahead of The Traitors highly anticipated final.
The Strictly Come Dancing presenter turned iconic The Traitors front-woman begged fans of the show to go easy on her as she refused to divulge any details about the eagerly awaited final.
Starring on The One Show, Claudia explained that she couldn’t say much about the final – which will air on BBC1 tomorrow night.
She even joked that she shouldn’t have agreed to appear on the sofa due to her inability to say anything about the series, which viewers would likely want.
Claudia explained to The One Show presenters Alex Jones and Lauren Laverne: “I’m going to start off by saying I’m going to be the worst guest ever.”
She continued: “You can cancel me at any point, just ask me to leave because I’m too scared to speak about The Traitors.”
Claudia went on to ask: “Is it okay if we talk about something else? Genuinely.”
Lauren then joked: “We’d be the only people in Britain not talking about The Traitors.”
Claudia pleaded: “I can’t talk. I feel terrible, I should have probably said before I arrived.”
The final episode of the series on BBC One will follow the Faithfuls and Traitors have one last chance to figure each other out, in order to take home the prize pot.
The finale will then be followed by spin-off show Uncloaked on BBC Two, where host Ed Gamble will reunite each one of the contestants.
A TV source said: “So far, Uncloaked has featured celebrity guests like Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Stacey Dooley, but bosses know the cast themselves are the big draw so are amping it up as a huge reunion special for Friday night.
“It means fans can sit down to a whopping 110 minutes of Traitors action – 70 for the main show and 40 for the spin-off.”
Claudia has previously given some insight into her highly awaited finale outfit though, stating: “I wear an outfit that is so nuts.
“I’ve never tried mushrooms but I imagine it feels like this.
“The outfit, the location and what was happening, and then it started raining.”
Meanwhile, eagle-eyed viewers have been theorising traitor Harry’s potential downfall, after he had Ross sent home.
It has left fans claiming he can’t win.
One viewer noted: “Evie and Jaz realise that Ross would never kill his own Mum meaning he’s only recently been recruited. The only time would be when Harry had a shield. And therefore Harry is lying. #TheTraitors.”
A second thought: “How has literally no one mentioned yet how weird it would be for Ross to kill his Mum? #TheTraitors #TheTraitorsUK.”
