Who is The Apprentice's Maura Rath?

Hailing from Wexford, Maura Rath's business is to bring health and wellness to people.

The businesswoman is now hoping to secure that all important £250K from Lord Alan Sugar on The Apprentice 2014.

Maura hopes that her business can provide people with "a bubble of self-love".

Despite revealing that she helps people to get rid of the feelings of "winter dread", those are actually the months that Maura enjoys the most.

The businesswoman confessed: "I swim in the Irish Sea all year round come rain, hail or snow!

"I am obsessed with sea swimming and cold-water dipping and actually prefer the colder months."

What does Maura Rath do for a living?

Maura runs her own company called Yoga With Maura.

The business offers multiple classes, as well as wellness retreats.

She told the BBC that her business could never potentially "fail", due to the fact “the success of my business is measured by the joy and health it brings people".

Speaking to , she said: "It just started as a little idea for my regulars clients and my own sanity and now I just can’t believe how much people are loving it."

Maura added: "Yoga really has the power to bring people together, and ease stress using movement and breath, especially in challenging times such as these.

When did Maura Rath open her company?

Maura discovered her passion for yoga in 2011, and then launched her company Yoga With Maura in 2017.

Her says: "Maura was working a high-pressure corporate job and running in her free time to keep fit.

"She found it hard to balance her work, life and health and dropped into her first yoga class 'just for a stretch' to relieve tightness from her running.

"Maura was soon hooked – after a heavy day at the office, a good yoga session would leave her body refreshed and her mind clear.

"As she progressed, the unity of breath and movement from the Vinyasa Flow style yoga she was doing became a ‘Moving Meditation’.

"Maura realised the immense value this was having in her life and was driven to share it with others. Her dream was to bring this all home to Ireland."

When does The Apprentice start?

The eighteenth series The Apprentice will kick off on February 1, 2024 on BBC One and the iPlayer.

Lord Alan Sugar once again resides over the show, with the help of his aides Karren Brady and Tim Campbell.

Fans will be treated to 12 brand new episodes, with the show set to run every Thursday at 9pm , until April 18, 2024.
