When asked what his biggest business success is to date, he said "there have been a few".

Steve told the BBC: "I broke into consulting on the strength of my project work and growing reputation with clients.

"Since then, I’ve gone on to partner with some of the
biggest companies in the world - crafting strategies that have boosted their bottom line by millions, and leading projects that have transformed businesses into market leaders.

"But my proudest achievement? Proving that you can succeed in business without being a jerk!

"Keeping humble (usually) and working with integrity and compassion."

What does Steve Darken want Lord Sugar to invest in?

Asked why he should win The Apprentice, and he said: "If I get the investment, the real winner in the show would be Lord Sugar!"

"I know Lord Sugar would be an incredible mentor, and we would work very well together – our differences are complementary, and our partnership would be guaranteed to turn any venture into a multi-million-pound success."

When is The Apprentice on?

The Apprentice kicks off on February 1, 2024, on BBC One and the iPlayer.

Lord Alan Sugar returns once again with the help of his aides Karren Brady and Tim Campbell.

It is set to run every Thursday at 9pm until April 18, 2024.

Lord Sugar says the show - now in series 18 - will continue for years to come even though he only has a year left on the contract.

He told the BBC: "Well, I love it. I love doing it. If I didn't like doing it, I wouldn't do it.

"I can assure you I've got plenty of other things to do in my life, but I do enjoy it.
