HOMES Under The Hammer property consultant Moses Bright has responded to Tommy Walsh’s shock exit from the show - days after revealing he had lung cancer.
The presenter, 67, who has already been replaced on the BBC show by former weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans, bravely shared his challenging diagnosis with fans last week.
Tommy also shared that he would undergo urgent treatment after doctors found a tumour in his lung.
At the time, the TV personality who joined the show in 2021 said: “I’ve been trying to keep cheerful.”
According to earlier reports, it was alleged that Tommy had been dropped from Homes Under the Hammer while his rumoured replacement, Owain, had already stepped in and began filming.
Tommy first appeared on screen alongside Alan Titchmarsh on BBC gardening show Ground Force from 1997 until 2005.

The TV star has also been seen on Flip That House with Tommy Walsh, Celebrity Fit Club, Fix Your House for Free and The Reclaimers.
After hearing of his co-star's axing, Moses, who has been filming with BBC for the upcoming series of the beloved show, has spoken out and admitted “he’ll be missed” and “it’s unfortunate that he’s leaving”.
He told GB News: “Everyone comes with their own personality, and I think that’s why the show is so good.
“You have Dion [Dublin], you have Tommy, and they all have their own way of doing things, and people can relate to them. It’s also a loved show.

“It’s just unfortunate that he’s leaving, he’s been replaced, and obviously we have to respect that.
“He’s a family man himself, he’s a human being, and that was his decision to come off the show so he can take time off to work on his own health and his own wellbeing.
“But I do know that he will be missed, definitely, because of his personality and how he presents, how he relates, how he talks about the property, you can tell his passion there.”
Moses continued: “I wish Tommy all the best, and I hope things turn around.
He will add a new dynamic.

“And if there’s an opportunity for him to come back, I’m sure, definitely, viewers would like to see him again doing something like this. So yeah, definitely all the best to him, but he will be missed.”
The Sun was previously told by a reliable source that Owain, 39, had started shooting the programme, which Tommy has presented since 2021.
They said: “Bosses wanted a makeover to keep younger viewers interested.
“They have been keen to get Owain onto one of their popular shows for a while — he will add a new dynamic.
“The upcoming series will feature both Tommy and Owain as there is a three-month lag with the house makeovers, so there is some crossover.”
Unfortunately, during the pandemic, Tommy, who is a builder by trade, was diagnosed with throat cancer but confirmed he was ‘fully recovered’ after surgery.
