The introduction clips featuring the contestants, were meant to build anticipation and keep viewers on the edge of their seats, however they ended up backfiring this time.

At the start Virdi and Steve were seen taking part in future tasks.

Simba was also spotted rocking a police officer outfit during a sneak peek at a future task.

So, at the end in the boardroom, viewers already knew who weren't getting fired.

The clips gave away too much information, ruining the experience for those at home watching.

Fans took to social media to call out the show's producers for their lack of attention to detail.

They were left shaking their heads and raging, "Here we go again."

Taking to X/Twitter, one complained: "Here we go again - #TheApprentice showing us clips from future tasks so we already know which candidates *aren’t* fired tonight…"

A second raged: "Did you spot the c*ck-up in last night's #TheApprentice? At the start they clearly showed Virdi and Steve taking part in future tasks. So, at the end in the boardroom, we already knew they weren't getting fired."

A third chimed in: "Well I think Simba survives as I'm sure the titles show him in a prison guard uniform for a future task."

Lord Sugar fired his first candidate of the new series yesterday - Oliver Medfort was sent packing, following his team's loss.

Sir Alan Sugar told him: “Ollie, it’s funny that you’re amongst eight colleagues and quite a few of them didn’t know what you did, and so I say no smoke without fire.

"It’s a tough one, Ollie I’m sorry to say mate you’re fired.”

Meanwhile, new Apprentice contestant Dr. Asif Munaf has already starred on Dragons’ Den – and even came to odds with Deborah Meaden.

Asif has recently come under fire after his controversial past use of social media was exposed.
