Gregg revealed his typical Saturday routine that's jam packed, involving a gruelling 5am wake up call.

The TV presenter hits the gym an hour before it opens, before he talks business with his PA over a fry-up breakfast at a local Harvester restaurant.

His routine was compared to TV comedy character Alan Partridge, whose routine also involves early, "VIP" trips to his local pool and daily meetings with his PA Lynn in a fictional hotel called the Travel Tavern.

And fans were also stunned to learn Gregg only cooks for his wife Anne-Marie Sterpini and their son Sid just once a week.

Ina feature that has gone viral, the 59-year-old : "I cook dinner for the family once a week - grilled fish from the fishmonger at the local farm shop, Hartley in Cranbook, Kent."

Gregg also revealed he spends just 90 minutes with Sid, who has non-verbal autism and dedicates two hours of the day to playing video games.

Explaining his activities with the five-year-old, Wallace said: "He used to be in his own world but he's starting to seek company and show eye contact.

"We'll potter in the garden and play with our two dogs, Wally and Bella.

"I'm a much better father now I'm older although another child isn't something I would have chosen at my age.

"I was always very honest with Anna but it's what she wanted and I love her."

The former Inside The Factory host added that he asked his wife for a holiday with just the two of them each year and extra help in the house, so her mother moved in.

Fans dad-shamed Gregg over his admission, with one writing: "He cooks for the family once a week - how absolutely wonderful of him."

A second posted: "Amazing. Demands early access to the gym, gets his wife's name wrong, admits to not wanting his son..."

"There's too much to unpack here. How does he watch a film in one hour. Why is he only playing Thrones of Britannia. Why is he not more help round the house and why is Anna still with him," a third harshly said.

While a fourth commented: "Not quite father of the year."

Others quickly spotted the similarities with Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge.
