THE Apprentice is set to take a disastrous turn in tonight's episode when the girls find themselves facing a maths mishap.

The BBC reality show, fronted by Lord Alan Sugar, made its triumphant return last week with a slew of new candidates hoping they have what it takes to take home the £250,000 investment.

It was candidate Ollie that ultimately become the first to be fired amid a disaster-filled first week.

And it seems that the disasters look set to keep on coming.

In The Sun's exclusive first look at the programme's next episode, the girls find themselves in a rather chaotic spin when trying to weigh up their figures for the latest task.

Lord Sugar will put the business hopefuls through their paces when he tasks them to create two different types of mini-cheesecakes.

The girls have already shown form for poor performances with food when they had an epic mix-up breadcrumbs and crumble in a fishcake disaster last week.

In The Sun's exclusive first look clip, the girls are left rowing as they appear to fail to comprehend how much the cost per unit of one cheesecake is.

Foluso can be heard asking: "How many grams are in a kg?"

Some of the girls say that it is 100 grams before Maura abruptly jumps in to clarify that it is 1000 grams.

With an aim to make 200 cakes, the team descends into chaos as it becomes clear that they aren't sure how many grams are required to make a cake and what the total cost will be.

Appearing to know her stuff, Maura says: "2000 grams makes only 20 cheesecakes!"

Seconds later, Raj responds to say: ";So 2000 grams makes 200 cheesecakes?"

With groans of "no it's not" crying out behind her, Maura can be seen looking into the distance before she barks: "We need to know what to order and I can't hear with all the chat and I do think we're getting it wrong, so I'm just going to think in my head."

It remains to be seen if the girls will manage to overcome their mathematical hurdle or if their lack of number-crunching skills will work against them.
