CORONATION Street fans have been left 'creeped out' by one character's twisted habit.
Fans of the ITV soap opera were left calling out the behaviour of school teacher Daniel Osbourne amid his discovery that girlfriend Bethany Platt had been lying to him about her journalism work.

On the programme, fans have watched how Daniel and Bethany have grown close once again following the collapse of his relationship with Daisy.
With it looking like the pair could be getting even closer to a fully fledged romance, things began to quickly crumble as Daniel discovered that Bethany had been keeping secrets about where she was really working.
Bethany had led Daniel to believe that she was working for the high-flying magazine Demeanour when in reality she was writing a gossip article for salon-favourite magazine, Chit Chat!
What made it worse was that Bethany was writing a piece about Daniel's romance with Daisy and how she had cheated on him with Ryan following the acid attack, her catfishing and his OnlyFans stint.

It led to a furious row between the pair as Daniel accused Bethany of pursuing him purely for written material.
But fans could not help but be left distracted that Daniel appeared to be talking to Bethany like a child despite being romantically linked.
Viewers branded him creepy for the way he conducted his conversations with her which was left raising eyebrows among fans at home.
Writing on X - formerly Twitter - one fan said: "Dull Daniel who’s in an intimate relationship with Bethany treats her & speaks to her like a young child, creepy on many levels."

Bethany stormed off and insisted the couple were "finished" but eventually grovelled in a bid to make up to him and re-start their romance.

Daniel later read the article and admitted that she had handled it sensitively but warned that she would have to warn Daisy about what's to come.
Fans had already watched how Bethany had lured Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) for gossip about Daisy and Ryan after helping to tutor her for her upcoming English exam.
Troublemaking Lauren was only too happy to spill the beans, unaware that Bethany was recording their conversation.
