With his furry costume and adorable face, this yeti has become a firm fan favourite on the show.

The biggest viewer theory is that Bigfoot is TV star Alex Brooker.

All I’m saying, how can you watch Bigfoot on The Masked Singer and think it’s me? It’s clearly one of the Backstreet Boys.

The character has always taken to the stage with their foot in a cast, which viewers thinking this a reference to his TV show The Last Leg – and the fact he wears a prosthetic leg.

Alex also famously signed up to to play rugby for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation PDRL team – which could be why Big Foot dropped a hint about rhinos.

Now, fans think Alex has dropped a hint he is indeed Bigfoot, during last night’s The Last Leg.

Addressing fan theories, he told viewers: “It can’t be [me]. I wouldn’t go on the tele dressed as something ridiculous. I know you’ve been talking about this I just have to say this straight off.

“Look at me now, I am sweating. I am sweating in here tonight.”

His co-host and pal comedian Josh Widdicombe, who has previously said it is definitely Alex on his podcast Parenting Hell, quipped: “Because you’re lying.”

To which Alex quipped: “Do you really think that I would be able to go in a costume, a massive hairy costume? They’d open it up, there’d be nothing left. It’d be like the end of the Snowman.”

After this a clip of Bigfoot on The Masked Singer was played, and Alex added: “All I’m saying, how can you watch that and think it’s me? It’s clearly one of the Backstreet Boys.”

Josh the replied: “I like Bigfoot because it references you. Flamingo that was the other option. First week Brooker was on as Bigfoot, and we’re all clear it is Brooker that’s Bigfoot, even though he’s lying to us.”

But viewers agreed with Josh, and took to X/Twitter to share their theories.

Masked singer judges speak ahead of final

While another added: “Alex is being very quite on @TheLastLeg and has a poker face so he must be big foot on @MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSingerUK #AlexBrooker keep an eye on his face every time big foot or the masked singer is mentioned.”

Meanwhile, other viewer guesses for the furry character have included former Friends icon Matt LeBlanc, Hamza Yassin, Scott Mills, Bill Oddie and even Bear Grylls.

Tonight sees the three remaining acts go head to head on in The Masked Singer’s grand finale.

Over the course of series, 12 famous faces took to the stage to perform, in the hope that their identity would remain a secret.

However, nine celebrities were unmasked during the course of the series
