Amber Davies breaks down in tears on Dancing On Ice as she dedicates Spice Girls performance to mum
When it came to the routine, the judges weren't completely sold on Amber's performance
AMBER Davies broke down in tears as she dedicated her Dancing On Ice performance to her mother.
The West End star and former Love Island contestant took to the ice with her partner Simon Senecal.
Before her performance, Amber revealed in her VT that she was dedicating the routine to her mum Susan.
The 27-year-old became emotional and broke down in tears before taking to the ice with the Spice Girl‘s single ‘Mama’.
“Anybody that knows me know how close me and my mum are.
“No matter what has happened to me in my life.”
The Dancing On Ice camera then cut as Amber gathered herself and wiped away her tears.
However, when it came to the moving routine, the judges demanded the actress included more ‘solo skating’ in her routine.
It resulted in Amber and Simon receiving 33 out of 40 points.
Reacting to her routine, one fan said: “Really feels like an attempt to get Amber out tonight.”
A second wrote: “Amber Davies finishing her dance in front of her mum, nope definitely not crying.”
“What’s their beef with Amber? I thought she did amazingly!! These judges are abysmal,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Amber skated way better than the scores the “judges” gave them.”
Amber’s mum Susan Susan was visibly touched by her dedication and could be seen wiping away tears.
