The presenters will once again help the crimefighters crack some of the UK's biggest unsolved cases.

Broadcasting live from 10:45am on March 4th directly after Morning Live, viewers will have the chance to get involved.

Through reconstruction and CCTV the public will be asked to dial in if they have any information relating to the crimes featured.

Speaking last year ahead of the previous series, presenter Rav said: “I’m really looking forward to another series of Crimewatch Live and working not only with Police and other law enforcement agencies, but also the biggest crime fighting team anyone could wish for, which is of course the amazing audience to try and solve a huge variety of serious crimes."

more on crimewatch

The original Crimewatch first aired 40 years ago this June and was presented by Nick Ross.

Over the years it was fronted by a number of hosts including Fiona Bruce and Jeremy Vine.

It was axed by Beeb bosses in 2017 and replaced with the current offering on BBC One daytime.

Execs said the decision to end the iconic show was due to declining viewing figures.

However, as a result of the cancellation Crimewatch Live was commissioned for more episodes.
