LOVE Island’s Mitch Taylor’s has been secretly dating a stunning blonde for months.

The reality star, 27, admitted he was trying to win back an ex during the Love Island final – and now we can reveal who she is.

Mitch has been dating Blackpool based Katie Wolstenholme for around three months, during which time he entered the Love Island villa.

The pair are said to have grown close before the show and he begged her to wait for him - but she has now called it quits.

An insider said: "Katie and Mitch were dating for about three months before he did the show and he was desperate for her to wait for him, but she decided to move on.

“Everyone was really surprised when Mitch brought up Katie on the live show.

When he returned for the final, he admitted that he has been trying to rekindle an old relationship since being axed from the programme.

And Hannah Elizabeth let slip she was from Blackpool.

Another of Mitch's friends was quick to dig him out, taking to social media to share speculation on who the ex girlfriend is.

Former islander Scott van-der-Sluis tweeted: "For anyone wondering Mitch’s Blackpool ex is called Katie and he hasn’t stopped talking about her."

Mitch's rep tells The Sun: "Mitch and Katie have not dated for months pre the villa and since he left the villa. The story is untrue."

Last night Mitch, who follows Katie’s twin sister but not her, went live on Instagram with Katie and another friend.

Mitch’s rep has been contacted for comment.
