BBC News host Maryam Moshiri baffles fans with bizarre new on-screen stunt months after flipping middle finger to camera
BBC News star Maryam Moshiri left fans baffled as she demonstrated an epic stunt live on-air.
Maryam has become the most talked about woman at the BBC in recent months after being heralded as an "icon" following her infamous middle finger blunder.
The TV host demonstrated how she could bend a metal spoon in one of the News' most unusual moments ever.
Her unexpected antics came off the back of a report that saw a radio host bend a frying pan and Maryam wanted to show that she could also take on a similar challenge.
Although she admitted that his performance was "great" Maryam proved that she could do it just as well.
Speaking down the lens of the camera, Maryam said: "I want to show I am, in fact, the strongest person here at the BBC."

She then whipped out a spoon to demonstrate her super strength as she continued: "This is a spoon from the BBC canteen, it's a real spoon."
Maryam then bashed the metal spoon against her skin for avoidance of doubt from any critics or naysayers.
The BBC favourite then fully bent the spoon in half within seconds and barely any effort required at all.
Posing proudly with her bent spoon, she asked fans "what do you reckon" as she marvelled at her work.
Maryam then bent the spoon BACK into position after admitting she was getting looks to suggest she was "insane".
Reacting to the hilarious moment online, Maryam joked: "No spoons were permanently harmed in the making of this film."
Maryam saw her fame sky-rocket after she was caught giving the camera a middle finger just seconds before she delivered a live BBC update.
Maryam was forced to release a statement clarifying she had been counting down in a joke with colleagues behind-the-scenes.
Footage later leaked which confirmed this, with Maryam coming on air exactly as she put up her middle finger in a bout of bad luck.
Her heightened profile has now resulted in the star bagging her own show with the Beeb which is where her recent spoon-bending antics took place.
The star is now the host of The World Today with Maryam Moshiri on the BBC News Channel.
Speaking about her new show, Maryam said: "I’m delighted to be launching The World Today on BBC News.
"This is my dream job and I’m so excited to be working with the unrivalled team of BBC journalists both in the UK and around the world.
"At a time when global events are affecting all our lives on a daily basis The World Today will inform and also make sense of what is happening globally.
