Yet another air fryer documentary has taken over the TV schedule - and fans are not happy.

The decision to air yet another show centered around the kitchen gadget has left many questioning the sanity of the channel's bosses.

Fans took to X/Twitter to express their frustration and disbelief at the seemingly endless stream of air fryer content.

One viewer wrote: "Seriously, another air fryer documentary? Are they okay over at Channel 5?"

Another joked: "Are these shows sponsored by Martin Lewis?"

A fourth wrote: "Wait...All you need is an air-fryer to lose weight...big news if true?"

A fifth added: "I can't believe they are subjecting us to this again. Enough with the air fryers!"

The backlash comes amidst a wave of criticism over Channel 5's recent programming choices, with many viewers longing for more diverse and engaging content.

As the air fryer saga continues to unfold on screen, audiences are left wondering if this trend will ever come to an end.

Channel 5 is yet to comment on the uproar, but one thing is clear - viewers are not impressed with the air fryer domination of their TV screens.

Air fryers can range in price from around £50 to upwards of £300.

Elsewhere TV presenter Denise Van Outen, a recent air fryer convert, tested a bunch of the household items in the Channel 4 documentary, Air Fryers: Are They Worth It? which aired in June, last year.

She met 'air fryer influencer' Nathan Anthony, known as Bored of Lunch, who revealed surprising meals you can prepare in the gadget.

And with the help of expert kitchen appliance testers, she tested three different models to see if it's worth spending money on the expensive ones.
