EMMERDALE’S Cain Dingle has finally met his match after being left in agony following a clash with Ruby Fox-Miligan.
The village hardman - who is played by actor Jeff Hordley in the ITV soap - has long been known as the enforcer of the Dingles.
He’s fought with gangsters, criminals and even his own family and mostly always come out on top.
But tonight he found himself doubled over in agony after trying to bully his sister in law.
The Dingles gathered to celebrate Mandy Dingle’s 47th birthday as well as distracting themselves from the cancer gene news.
But it soon became clear that Caleb had kept Ruby in the dark and she was furious and heartbroken.

As the couple clashed, Cain became annoyed and demanded they leave.
“That’s enough. Take it outside,” ordered Cain but while Caleb agreed, Ruby refused.
“Jog on. Either that or rejoin Oasis. Do not come near me or you will regret it.”
As Cain tried to intimidate her into leaving, telling her she wasn’t welcome here, Ruby called his bluff.

Cain tried to patronise her, telling her to be a good girl and run along but Ruby refused, warning him: “You’ve got three seconds to move.”
