It comes as Laura Whitmore and Oti Mabuse's weekend shows are axed

It will return for a bumper 22-episode third series later this year

The star has already got two successful series’ under her belt and ITV have asked her back in another big money signing.

Katie has impressed show bosses so much that she will be appearing across both Saturdays and Sundays, with a 22-show run in total.

Sharing her excitement, the mum-of-two said: “I am so happy to be back for a third series, and this time it’s bigger than ever!

“Expect some incredible guests in the studio, from TV stars, podcasters as well as top musical talent.

“I can’t wait for everyone to wake up with me every Saturday and Sunday – so set your alarms!”

Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show is a magazine-style morning programme featuring feel-good features, inspirational stories and entertainment segments.

Fans also enjoy a craft section that Katie often tries her hands at at the end of an episode.

Katie has been a Loose Women panelist since 2021.

Her breakfast series launched the following year before returning to ITV1 for another run in 2023.

Guest stars on her show have included podcaster and former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, Celebs Go Dating‘s Anna Williamson and comedienne Shaparak Khorsandi.

Amanda Ross, executive producer and CEO of production company Cactus said: “I’m delighted ITV have given us the chance to produce a third series with Katie Piper, this time across the whole weekend, recognising the success of her Sunday shows last year.

Loose Women star Katie Piper jokes she wants to join David Haye and Una Healy’s 'throuple'

“We will be able to showcase more of a range of Katie’s talents as Saturday and Sunday mornings will have a distinctly different vibe.”

Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show will return later this year.

The announcement comes following news that both Laura Whitmore and Oti Mabuse’s weekend shows have been axed by ITV.

Dancing On Ice judge Oti, 33, hosted her Oti Mabuse‘s Breakfast Show series on Saturdays, while Irish presenter Laura, 38, fronted Laura Whitmore‘s Breakfast Show on Sundays.

But sources claim the decision to drop them both has nothing to do with the ladies’ presenting skills.

An insider said: “Laura and Oti’s shows not being renewed is in no way a reflection on them – they both impressed with their hosting skills and personalities.

“Producers are keen to keep the slots fresh and introduce a new offering to viewers this spring.”

Laura, who is married to Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, is yet to hear if ITV have renewed her gripping investigative series.

Oti is still a fixture on ITV1, starring as a judge on the Dancing On Ice panel alongside Ashley Banjo and Torvill & Dean.

The Sun previously revealed her dating series Romeo and Duet was dropped by ITV bosses after one series due to low ratings.

Meanwhile, another huge shake up this spring will see Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley replace Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as hosts of This Morning.
