EDDIE Knight has been keen to get his adoptive son George to give him a good character reference but the latter refused.
Desperate to avoid prison, the EastEnders villain stoops to a new low next week to get what he wants and blackmails George.
George Knight's world was turned upside down when he found out his father Eddie had been accused of murder and needed his presence at the trial for a glowing character reference.
Recent scenes of the BBC One soap have led to the Knight family secrets to come undone and George (portrayed by Colin Salmon) not only found out Eddie (Christopher Fairbank) was a murderer but that he had also killed his biological father Henry.
Eddie slowly showed his true colours and his racist micro-aggressions culminated into him having an outburst against George in The Vic.
This prompted Gloria Knight (Elizabeth Counsell) to reveal to George why Eddie killed Henry.
