As usual, things didn't always go to plan for both sides, but with just one hour to work her magic, Nexus' Foluso Falade was able to secure an incredible 200,000 unit deal with supermarket Iceland.

The deal also included an exclusive three-month selling period, which before hearing the final numbers in the board room, Lord Sugar deemed a "bit of a bl***y risk".

But it was a risk that paid off, with Nexus beating their opponents by a whopping 193,000 units.

Foluso's efforts won praise from Lord Sugar who said: "Well done, not often we see orders of that size here."

Speaking about the history making moment for the show, Lord Sugar's assistant, Tim Campbell, said: "The good thing is that brands like this supermarket have been at the heart of communities for generations.

“All of us know about getting some form of frozen item whether it's a dessert or something that you want after an interesting night on the town that you put in the oven the next day."

He added: “In addition to this supermarket, there are some other very well-known high street retailers who are also part of what we're doing, and we are really pleased that they want to be associated with this show, which I think is a great testament to us."

While it was a good day for Nexus and Foluso, the same could not be said for Supreme and online fitness coach Sam Saadet.

Lord Sugar told her: "Sam, I admire your honesty and I can tell that you get on with everyone and that is a good virtue in business.

“However, the kids found the cereal boring and bland. So it is with sincere regret that you’re fired.”

The Apprentice fans shocked as they spot VERY rude mistake in team's design

Following her firing, she said: "I was completely and utterly myself throughout the whole process. And Lord Sugar knew that.

"His comments at the end meant more to me than anything and I completely went out on the high and I get to go home to my babies now.”

There are now 11 candidates left in the competition.

The Apprentice airs Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One.
