‘Personal space is overrated’ says Helen Skelton as she shares adorable Mother’s Day snaps with her three kids at home

HELEN Skelton has marked Mother’s Day by sharing some adorably chaotic pictures with her kids at home.

The BBC star, who shared three children with rugby league star ex-husband Richie Myler, gave fans a glimpse into her life and fans loved the normality of it.

Despite being one of the most recognisable people on TV, Helen, 40, was more than happy to frolic around in the natural snaps.

In one snap her son Louis, six, wrapped her legs around Helen’s head, while in another his brother Ernie, eight, squeezed inside Helen’s top for a funny picture.

In a third, her youngest – daughter Elsie, one – fell asleep on her head.

Helen joked: “Portraits of motherhood recently….
Personal space is overrated.”

Followers complimented Helen on a parenting job well done following a difficult couple of years in her personal life.

One commented: “The mum that I look up to ever situation. Enjoy being spoilt today you deserve it xxxx”

Single Helen split from Richie in 2022 when he announced he was leaving out of the blue.

He soon found love with Stephanie Thirkill and the couple had their first child last year and are now building a home together.

In her autobiography, Helen revealed how the aftermath of the split affected her while she took part in Strictly Come Dancing.

She wrote: “I“In week two, Gorka [Marquez] asked me why I didn’t feel sexy.

“It was an awkward question that immediately made me cringe.

“Why ask me that?! I was just there for the banter. I have never been sexy, I was the cute and funny type.

“He was asking a woman with three children under six, whose husband had just left her and was with another woman, TO BE SEXY.

“I thought, ‘Who would feel good about themselves in that scenario?’.”

However, Helen did find her sexy side and famously wowed everyone with a racy routine in suspenders.
