A POPULAR murder mystery series is believed to have already been commissioned for a second series after a great fan reception.
It has been claimed that the UKTV original show, The Marlow Murder Club, will be back for a second outing after the first instalment thoroughly impressed with viewers.
have stated that a three-episode second series is in the works of the Samantha Bond-led programme.
Other details remain a closely-guarded secret including whether all of the cast will be back for the show.
A selection of top TV actresses were chosen to lead the programme.
Downton Abbey and Outnumbered star Samantha played the programme's leading character, Judith Potts, a retired woman who lived alone in a mansion in the small village of Marlow.

Usually found doing crosswords and puzzles in her newspaper, Judith was left shocked during the first series when she believed she heard a gunshot coming from her neighbours garden in the sleepy village.
It leaves her utterly convinced that there has been a shock murder and so reports what she knows to the authorities.
Across the show, viewers saw how the police were reluctant to believe Judith and it is only thanks to chance encounters that she eventually meets other people who help her to get her thoughts heard.
Judith meets local dog-walker, Suzie, played by Holby City and Doctor Who star Jo Martin.

As well as local housewife Becks, played by Cara Horgan, the trio become their own investigators and set about finding evidence for the crime.
Eventually, the police recognise their efforts and hire them as civilian advisers in order to help solve the case.
Soon, the bodies begin to pile up and they must do all they can in order in order to find the deadly killer.
