KYM Marsh has been flooded with support as she opened up on the devastating loss of her father.
The former Coronation Street star, 47, has paid tribute to her dad David in a candid post.
Kym marked his 79th birthday following his death earlier this year.
Taking to social media, the Morning Live presenter shared a sweet snap with her late father.
Captioning the post, she said: "Happy birthday Daddy. First one without you here. Can’t bear it. I miss you so much."
Kym's dad died after a long battle with prostate cancer and had been incredibly open about his struggles with the disease on the BBC's morning offering.
Replying to her post, Kym's 600,000-strong fan base rushed to support her.
One fan wrote: "I'm so sorry hun. You had a wonderful dad and I hope your memories help you today and every day. Watch for the signs. His soul lives on and through you x."
A second wrote: "Happy heavenly birthday Dave. Such a lovely gentleman."
"I know it’s unbearable, I lost my dad 18 months ago and i miss him so, so much big hug," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "this hurts my heart, our dads share the same birthday, a couple of years ago you wished my dad a happy birthday. Today we all get to out with my father to celebrate him turning 80 I wish you could celebrate with Dave."
Last month Kym delighted fans as she returned to Morning Live after months off air.
The star hadn't presented the show alongside Gethin Jones since before Christmas.
