CBB fix row as furious fans ‘call Ofcom’ claiming show is ‘rigged for housemate to win’
Fans also slammed Big Brother for allowing the star to take part in nominations
CELEBRITY Big Brother has been thrown into a fix row as fans called Ofcom claiming that the show is rigged.
This came after Big Brother ‘saved’ one lucky housemate from eviction.
On Monday night, Big Brother gave Fern Britton the opportunity to evict a housemate of her choosing by placing a ‘pot of gold’ on their bed.
What Fern didn’t know is that the chosen housemate would actually receive a golden ticket to the final.
She chose to evict Louis Walsh which was when Big Brother revealed that Fern’s decision gave Louis immunity granting him a spot in the final.
Angry fans vented their frustration on X, formerly known as Twitter, after watching Louis avoid eviction due to a twist, claiming that Big Brother is deliberately keeping him in the competition.
One user wrote: “Just catching up on Last Nights #CBB and I don’t understand why Fern won the pot of gold and put the snake on Louis pillow only for Big Brother to then give Louis a free pass.
“This is fixed and pointless. @bbuk, @Ofcom should be informed on how you are fixing who stays in the house.”
Another added: “When they rigged it for Louis to get to the final I knew this was some f*******t.”
“Actually rigged f**k you ITV! rigging this show for f*****g Louis and Fern,” penned a third.
A fourth, furious about the former X Factor judge being allowed to nominate, wrote: “Why are they counting Louis’ votes ? Him being in the final rids the process of it’s urgency ergo less votes ??????? the audacity, this programme is WINGING IT.”
A fifth, claiming that the voting system is rigged, wrote: “Totally fixed. I don’t know if I trust the voting. Seems very very weird.”
