Who is Annita McVeigh and how old is she?
Annita McVeigh is a Northern Irish broadcaster originally from County Armagh.
She is 46-years-old as of March 2024.
The star went to Queens' University in Belfast after growing up on a farm outside Armagh and went to school in Dungannon.
Her journalism career started at the Ulster Gazette and Tyrone Courier.

She then presented BBC NI’s Newsline before moving to BBC Network News, with her reports appearing on BBC One, BBC News and BBC Radio.
She had been a presenter on the BBC News channel since 2006.
Is Annita McVeigh married?
Annita is married to BBC manager Martin Read.
The pair have two children together - a son and a daughter.

Annita has said in the past that she thinks it's important for children to understand what is going on around the world.
The reported that she said: "I think it is important to teach them how to understand events and the reasons.
"Newsround did a little film about Manchester. We were watching the coverage and my nine-year old son was very sweet - he just bowed his head at one point and said, 'Mum, I'm just thinking about the people who died', even though he didn't know them.'
"My parents always encouraged me to watch news programmes. Obviously, some coverage isn't suitable for kids but Newsround does a good job."

Has Annita McVeigh left the BBC?
Annita briefly left the BBC in February 2023 when she was cut from her presenting role.
McVeigh, along with four other BBC presenters – Maxine Croxall, Kasia Madera, Geeta Guru-Murthy and Karin Giannone – were removed from their roles following the merging of BBC News and BBC World News.
They were reportedly asked to reapply for their jobs for a second time after they were unsuccessful in gaining a new role on the BBC News Channel.
When did Annita McVeigh return to the BBC?
Annita has now returned to the BBC back in a presenting role.
In February 2024 it was announced she would be returning and promoted to chief presenter.
Annita took to social media to mark her return as fans flooded her with support.
Alongside a snap of her in the studio, she penned: "….and I’m back. In Studio C with #NewsNow until 1500GMT - so good to be bringing you the news again."
The Times previously reported that all women will be offered permanent roles to avoid possible legal action.
An insider said: “They’re all litigious and the National Union of Journalists will back them.
