Who is in the Gladiators final? Meet the finalists

Plus a look at what the winning prize is

AFTER ten intense weeks of competing against the Gladiators, the final contenders have been confirmed.

The four finalists will take to the arena one last time to see who will walk away as the champion of Gladiators 2024.

Who is in the Gladiators final?

Finlay Anderson

Finlay is a 34-year-old army officer from Edinburgh.

He earned a place in the final after he won The Eliminator despite setting off six seconds behind his opponent in the semi-final.

If he won Gladiators, it would be a "childhood dream come true".

He said: "From making my own Eliminator with my brother aged 5 in my granny's living room to competing in the 2024 series is quite a leap."

Wesley Male

Wesley has made it to the finalCredit: BBC

Wesley is a 35-year-old admin officer from Leeds.

Wesley was caught up in a "cheating row" during the semi-finals but still made it through to the grand finale.

The admin officer said it felt "absolutely amazing" to get to the Gladiators final.

He said: "Being able to perform on one of my favourite TV Shows, in Sheffield Arena (I've attended many times as a wrestling fan), in front of family AND friends in the Gladiators final will be something I will remember for the rest of my life!"

Bronte Jones

Bronte is a 23-year-old firefighter from Sheffield.

She may be the youngest, but she powered through Gauntlet and earned her place in the final.

Bronte said it would be "such an amazing achievement that I'd be proud of" to win the show.

She added: "It would mean the world to me knowing that I made all of my friends and family proud because they've been such amazing support, I'd love to be able to bring it home for a home crowd of Sheffield."

Marie-Louise Nicholson

Marie-Louise is a 28-year-old fitness coach from Dublin.

She has scored maximum points five times across the series.

Marie-Louise said getting to the final is a "dream come true".

She said: "It just makes me believe that I am capable of so much more than I ever believed."

How do you win Gladiators?

The contestants earn points across a series of challenges against the Gladtiators, before going head to head in the legendary Eliminator.

In a race against time, the contestant with the highest score gains a head start.

For every point exceeding their opponent's score, they earn a half-second advantage.

The referee's iconic phrase "you will go on my first whistle.... and you will go on my second whistle" will set each contestant off down the challenging course.

Participants must go over and under horizontal poles, climb a rope and netting, navigate hanging bars and a balance beam, and whizz down a zip wire, before attempting to run up the travelator and burst through the finish line.

What does the winner of Gladiators get?

The prize for the rebooted series of Gladiators has not yet been revealed.

In the past UK series, 12 cars and prizes totalling more than £45,000 were won on ITV.

When is the Gladiators final on TV?

The BBC has confirmed that the champ will be crowned on Saturday, March 30.

The show will air at 5,50pm on BBC One, but if you it you can catch up on iPlayer.

Hosts Bradley and Barney Walsh will be on hand to see just who manages to make it all the way to the end.

The final episode was filmed in front of a live audience in Sheffield in 2023 and it won't be long before eager fans will discover who triumphed.

It has also been announced that the show will return for another a second series of the BBC reboot.

A TV source said: "The viewing figures are proof that there is still a big appetite for Gladiators after all these years."
